The background
Brocor set out to move traditional auctions online for South African buyers and sellers, replacing in-person, venue-bound events with a digital platform bidders can use from anywhere.
The problem
What needed solving
Running auctions in person limits who can take part and how often auctions can happen. Brocor needed a trustworthy online platform that could handle live, time-sensitive bidding, onboard sellers, and meet South African compliance requirements (FICA) — all without the friction that makes people abandon a sign-up.
